The American Red Cross (ARC) and the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) frequently work together during disaster response efforts, especially in shelters and community relief operations. This session, presented by ARC staff, will provide an overview of Red Cross Disaster Services, including the key programs, volunteer roles, and ways MRC members can get involved. Attendees will gain insights into how Red Cross volunteers are deployed during disasters, the types of support they provide, and how MRC volunteers may potentially train, partner, and respond alongside the Red Cross in future activations.
